Shania Johnston -- Shania's Sunflower of Hope for Neuroblastoma Research
Siobhan keeps this 2003 picture of you by her bed.

July 12, 2007 – Shania Johnston, tireless fundraiser for a cure for Neuroblastoma, recipient of the Citizen of Character Award from York Region's Character Community, daughter, sister, and friend – what magic you have brought to the Town of Markham in just 8 short years. Since we have known you, we knew you were a very special little girl – your energy, insight, strength, and dedication far surpass your young years. Siobhan still keeps your picture next to her bed from so long ago. We believe.

Shayne, Karen, and Shannon, your online diary has reduced many of us to tears on countless occasions. Your strength in these moments of hardship have taught us so much and, when parents should never have to endure all that you have, your pain has given us all hope. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you. You deserve all the sunflowers in the world!

Shania Johnston was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma (a cancer of the nervous system) in June 2006, had a small reprieve, but now her disease has returned. To make a donation to Shania's Sunflower of Hope for Neuroblastoma Research, please visit Shania's Store or donate online to The James Fund. Your support and prayers for this entire Markham family are needed – believe.
