Sport Fencing Markham (SFM) Mission promotes, develops and delivers the sport of fencing within Markham; aids and guides the local development of the sport, and serves as a liaison with the Ontario Fencing Association.
The Ontario Fencing Association (OFA) and SFM is committed to the promotion and delivery of the sport of fencing, a year-round, highly disciplined activity, based on a high degree of physical fitness and technical skill, offering a socially acceptable outlet for individual competitive instincts, particularly amongst the young, and combining the historic charm of an age-old combative activity ensuring totally objective judgment of results. |
