Family Tobogganing

It's winter outside and in just a while, there will be no need for this information for another year... Tobogganing is quite popular and great exercise – our readers are looking for a few good areas for tobogganing in Markham! If you would like to suggest a hill from your area to add to our Tobogganing Profile, please contact us!

Note: With recent incidents of tobogganing injuries in the media, we recommend every tobogganing trip is supervised by an adult (if the child is old enough, inspection of the area is advised) and that each participant wears appropriate gear such as helmets and warm clothing. Areas to avoid are hills near roads and water and those that have trees, large rocks, and construction debris.

Exercise judgment and caution before sledding down a hill. Check your local weather guide for appropriate conditions before heading out. Have a happy and safe tobogganing slip!
